Network and web 2.0 A challenge for culture

After a brief description of Eccom activities, he’ll focus on the chance of networking in the actual financial and economic crisis. In the one hand the networking can be an important strategy for the sharing of experience and costs, on the other hand can be a chance for better communicate the importance of culture and to use new technologies. In the end he’ll focus on the evaluation of the economic and social impact of a cultural enterprise.

Bio

Giulio Stumpo (1974) is specialized in economic analysis and evaluation of cultural and performing art sector. From 2004 to 2008 he was consultant of the Italian Observatory of the performing art in the Italian Minister of Cultural Heritage. He is a partner of Eccom – European Centre for Cultural Organisation and Management and of the “Associazione per l’Economia della Cultura”. He is also consultant of public and private enterprises as Formez, Regione Basilicata, Luiss Management, IZI, Adriano Olivetti Foundation, Zétema Foundation. He is specialised in the elaboration and implementation of cultural projects, and also carries out statistical and economic analyses in the fields of the performing arts and of cultural tourism. He also teaches Economics of the Arts and Culture in many post-graduate courses.

He has also an international experience following project in Paraguay, India, Russia, Serbia, FYR Macedonia.
