João Neto (1965) studied History at the Lusiada University of Lisbon and has a PostGrad in Museology. He made two internships at the Science Museum, London, UK, and at the Boerhaave Museum, Leiden, Holanda.
He has worked as a researcher and museologist for the last two decades, having organized several conferences and many exhibtions. He is Director of the Pharmacy Museum, a private-owned museum, since 1994.
He is President of the Portuguese Association of Museology since 2007.
